3. Floralies
Posted by Nathalie Daigle on
This week, I present to you the Floralies. Maybe you're like me or maybe you know people who don't have a green thumb? Here is an adorable solution that will beautify the environment without the need for watering 😉.
The boss of this trio is Elena Dorogina. You can get it (in English only) in the Etsy shop FavoriteToyPattern.
Hook used: 2.25 mm and 1.5 mm
11 Scheepjes Catona colors were needed to create the trio:
- 383 - Ginger Gold (36 g)
- 162 - Black Coffee (12 g)
- 130 - Old Lace (40 g)
- 246 - Icy Pink (1 g)
- 412 - Forest Green (9 g)
- 403 - Lemonade (6 g)
- 208 - Yellow Gold (3 g)
- 226 - Light Orchid (3 g)
- 521 - Deep Violet (2 g)
- 106 - Snow White (2 g)
- 527 - Midnight (8 g)
I use Loops & Threads classic polyester fiberfill that I source from Michaels. I used 60g of stuffing.
The eyes are 6mm safety eyes (3 pairs).
The average height of each is 22 (H) x 7 (W) x 7 (D) cm.
Note: I had a little problem getting the daffodil to stand due to its weight as well as the iris. I therefore recommend that you add a metal wire (florist's brooch style) in the stems.
A project that will brighten up your interior 12 months a year. 🌷🌸 🌼
